I am sure many of you feel the summer moving so quickly. I can't believe it is time for us to celebrate WBW together on Aug. 9th. We plan to have some great giveaways and surprises! The WBW committe has fun planned for us as well.</div> <bR> <div> <B>We will be meeting at 925 S.Orange Ave, please note some of the exits off I-4 no longer exists. Here are new directions: from the East : head I-4 west to Kaley, get off Kaley East, turn Left onto Kaley and take that to Orange Ave (2 lights later), Stay in the right hand lane of Orange Ave approx. 2 mi down on the right (before Gore St. ) you will see a big sign on the building that says Orlando Health Education Center (pull into the parking light as you approach the building , if you pass the building the next lot is a one way exit) Coming from the West Take I-4 East, get off at Kaley, make a right off the exit and follow above directions to Orange Ave.</B></div> <bR> <div> We need to find two- three members that attend meetings on a regular basis that would like the opportunity to be hostess. The responsibilities include: getting breakfast items (there is a budget for $35, save receipt and FLCA will reimburse), arriving to the meeting by 9:15 to start the coffee, set up breakfast, help direct people regarding check in, organize and order lunch, set up lunch when it arrives and help clean up the Kitchen after the meeting (of course with the assistance of all FLCA members as well). Please notify myself or Shannon if you are interested in this position. It is something we really need to fill in order to continue to have FLCA meetings run efficiently, smoothly and stress free.</div> <bR> <div> One last important item, this is a reminder, we have a very nice facility we were given to use for our meetings . It has all the things we could want, large room , plenty of chairs, Lrge Kitchen w/ coffee maker, refrigerator/ freezer and microwave, LCD projector etc. We are guests to this facility when we attend it and need to remember that. We need to stay only in the areas that have been given to us to use, kitchen, bathroom and meeting room. The building houses other dept and people come in to work on the weekends as well as conduct Lamaze classes. Also, if you plan to share something with the group, you will need to come prepared with enough handouts (FLCA will reimburse if a receipt is presented). There is no photocopying available on site.
